TURNAROUND TIME
Each and every item is handmade by a fellow animal lover and fellow owner for 40+ years, who uses the same products that have tested them and knows each stitch to be safe, soft and special for our pets.
1. Customize!! You choose all the colors, prints, and personalization. I have tried to make this as complicated or as easy as you would like.
2. Fabrics: I use anti-pill fleece unless you choose different. I do have Fleece, cotton and flannel available.
3. Owner/Creator: so, I am quality control, accounting, sales and web design.
I make my items in the order they are received. Currently my turn around time: @ three weeks
ANTI-PILL FLEECE FABRIC AND COLORS
Choose what colors or patterns you may want - or if you have a theme in mind just let me know, and I am happy to do my best to accommodate that. If the print, you have chosen is not available I will reach out for a switch or can use something similar. I use anti-pill fleece here unless you choose otherwise. I also shop at Joann Fabrics, so you are welcome to take a peek at their website as well.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Everything is washable! Has to be right? Critters are dang messy... Am I right?
Washing instructions: machine wash on cold. I do not use fabric softeners, instead use vinegar. Hang to dry or in the dryer at low heat. Each fleece item is made from unwashed fleece; this means they have not been pre-wicked. If you need your items pre-wicked, please let me know.
PILLOWCASE VS PADS OR MATS?
Pillowcase liners are 1 ply fleece thick (unless they include a textile absorbent layer) shelf or large pan goes inside and covers the entire pans.
Pads or Mats are three layers thick. They are thick and sewn completely closed. They sit on top of the grate, pans, or shelf’s levels. A lot of times you want to add an anchor such as grommets, ties, or elastic also available.
NOTCH, HOLE, OR SHELF?
What is a Notch? A lot of listings will talk about a notch or a hole that pertains to the center level dividing a cage that may have a hole for the animal to drop down through. Which listing do I choose? If you are not positive, please reach out. I would love to help the best I can.
TO GROMMET OR NOT TO GROMMET?
Grommets are metal "holes" pierced through the fabric, then you can hook them down or to the cage sides to "hopefully" keep them in place from little hands.
I like to use large binder clips, but grommets do look a bit better paired with ties I can hide them under fleece while anchoring in place.
